Workshop - Capability Building for Hydrogen Storage

The importance of hydrogen storage in reducing atmospheric greenhouse gases is widely recognised in the energy sector and many companies are looking at different options for hydrogen storage. This transition to lower carbon energy requires the application of new and existing technologies and the development of a skilled workforce to develop and use them.

What are your views?

For this workshop, we have gathered Technical Leads, Subject Matter Experts, and L&D advisors working in the energy sector on hydrogen storage projects to provide their thoughts and views on how best to tackle the 'skills transition' however we would like to know your insights, views, and experiences on this and help find answers to the questions below:

  • What are the key technical issues for hydrogen storage projects?
  • Are there areas of training that need to be addressed in the short term?
  • What job roles will be the main recipients of training?
  • What modes of delivery (classroom, field, self-paced, blended) are most suitable for providing training solutions?
