Brookwood Cemetery - vegetation clearance

Members of the Training Team, along with colleagues from the Woking office, took part in clearing the historic Necropolis Railway Line at Brookwood Cemetery along with general clearance and tidying of the graves and memorials.

The Grade 1 listed cemetery is the largest in the U.K, and has been situated on the site for 170 years. It also featured in Attenborough’s Wild Isles series in 2023.

Thankfully the weather stayed dry for the team, and they managed to clear over 15 tonne bags worth of vegetation from the old railway line, enabling visitors to access and enjoy this historic area. Well done team!
