The Application of 3D Visualisation in Training - Workshop A Great Success

On Thursday 24 February RPS Energy Training hosted another successful virtual thematic workshop on learning and development solutions for the Energy Industry.

2nd March 2022

The theme for this event was "The Application of 3D Visualisation in Training for Subsurface Geoscientists and Engineers" with a series of invited speakers who presented different perspectives on the theme.

Over 60 people joined the workshop from companies and organisations all over the world and contributed to a discussion session on topics prompted by the different presentations.

There was a widely-held view that 3D outcrop images of field locations provide a valuable additional tool in classroom, field, and virtual training contexts aiding both interpretation and explanation of geological features.
