Integrated programs

An innovative training solution for the energy sector that makes the complex task of training professional staff across a range of technical areas easy.

Integrated capability development programs

A blended learning approach of building knowledge base through interactive on-line modules with skills development in instructor-led virtual or classroom tuition, exercises and scenario-based activities.

Modular Learning

Modularised structure

Allows creation of unique training pathways through on-line learning whilst retaining an integrated approach to skills development through classroom sessions.

Flexible

Flexibility

Customised content is accompanied by flexibility of scheduling of learning time, fitting in with work patterns to be operationally friendly.

Adaptable

Adaptable

Methods of delivery are adaptable, with content provided as e-learning modules (where available) and/or instructor-led sessions in person or virtually.

Cost Effective

Cost effective

More cost efficient than conventional classroom courses and more effective than on-line training in isolation.

How it works

  • A training program is built based on the requirements of the organisation and the needs of the individual: initial competency assessments of technical employees are mapped against the capability framework determined by business objectives.
  • Programs are designed for cohorts of staff and scheduled as required.
  • The on-line e-learning modules are available to trainees as required. Instructors can provide support through feedback on exercises and quizzes.
  • Instructor-led sessions may be in-person or virtual.
  • Workshop sessions can concentrate on integrating knowledge and developing practical applications of relevant skills through scenario-based exercises.

Who is it for?

The blended learning approach is suitable for cohorts of staff in a wide range of roles in different sizes of organisation. On-line learning can be delivered to groups of any size, even to individuals, and classroom sessions used for groups within a cohort for integrative learning. The training is applicable to organisations or discipline sectors with organisations of all sizes and is particularly suitable for a distributed workforce.

Quality assurance

Training has been delivered to the energy sector by RPS Energy (formerly as Nautilus Ltd) for 20 years, initially focussing on subsurface disciplines and growing into wider areas utilising the broader expertise of the RPS Group. Training is designed and delivered by subject area specialists who are experts in their fields and a rigorous quality assurance process led by technical staff ensures that all training is delivered to the highest industry standards.
