Summary

This course introduces geoscientists to the terminology and practices of the drilling, completion, and reservoir engineers with whom they interact on multi-disciplinary unconventional resource evaluation teams. It also discusses future directions in unconventional resource engineering.  

This course will help you improve business performance by developing a solid understanding of unconventional resource engineering concepts and terminology, as well as improving your technical communication with the engineers in your team.

Duration and Training Method

This is a three-day classroom course comprising lectures and exercises.

Prerequisites and linking courses

Familiarity with unconventional plays would be an advantage but is not essential.
